Anion Enhancer is derived from a co-product of glutamic acid fermentation dried on soy hull. Anion Enhancer is composed of a balanced mixture of non-protein nitrogen in the form of ammonium chloride, peptides and amino acids. Compared to cows fed in regular anionic salts experienced a decrease in feed consumption during the transition period, Anion Enhancer has proven to increase dry matter intake. In addition, the nitrogen array in Anion Enhancer provides for a slower release of nitrogen in the rumen compared with 100% NPN crude protein sources.
INDICATED USE:
Provides a dietary source of anions to modify dietary anion/cation balance in ruminant animals. Also provides a protein source.
